In 1992, she danced in “Azabache” with Manolo Marin, for the Sevilla Exposition.

She has been in movies, such as “Flamenco” and “Sevillanas”, directed by the renowned Spanish film director, Carlos Saura. She has also been in a movie for the French TV channel, “France 3”. In 1994, she incorporated La Compañía Andaluza de Danza, under Mario Maya's direction, taking part in two shows: “De lo Flamenco” and “Réquiem”.

In 1996, Alicia toured in the main Spanish theatres, dancing in “Suite Iberia” and “Tientos Tangos”, both directed by Manolo Marin, and in “El perro Andaluz”, directed by Maria Pages.

In 1997, under José Antonio's direction, she danced in the opening show for the Teatro Real in Madrid in “La Vida Breve”. In 1998, she danced in many shows for Compañía Andaluza, including “Cosas de Payo” by Javier Latorre, “Ramito de Locura” by Javier Barón, “Latido Flamenco” by Manolete, “Turina” and “Picasso” by José Antonio, and “Encuentro” directed by Alejandro Granados, Isabel Bayón, Eva la Yerbabuena and Rafael Campallo.

In 2000, before deciding to start her individual career, she participated in the 2000 Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, working with Fernando Romero, in his show “Bachdaliana”.

At the Zarzuela Theatre in Madrid, she danced as a soloist in “De la Noche” with Joaquin Grilo's company, and then she worked with Paco Pena's company, also as a soloist, in “Voces y Ecos” and “Flamenco Concert”.

While working in Compañía Andaluza in 2002, she had the pleasure to play the mother's role (la Madre) in Antonio Gade's “Bodas de Sangre”.

She presented her own show, “De la Memoria” at the Alhambra, in Granada, and in the Teatro Central de Sevilla during the 2003 Season of “Flamenco Viene del Sur”, receiving high praise from the press!

In 2003 and 2004 she participated in the third and fourth Festival Larachí de Flamenco in Sevilla. In 2005 she presented her own show, “Dos Mujeres, Dos Miradas” at Jerez’ festival, and she went on to tour in Austria with this show. She also collaborated with Paco Pena's Canadian and US tour as a soloist.

Since 2005, she has been giving classes during Jerez' festival and she occasionally teaches at The National Ballet of Spain, choreographing Bata de Cola dances.
